Exhibition Service
We have expanded our exhibition service to meet demand. This service involves us transporting customers display and promotional items to exhibitions, and collecting after the exhibition is over. Our couriers work closely with the client, finding the correct stand, communicating by mobile etc. Ensuring the correct material is in the right place at the right time.
Are AC Couriers eco friendly ?
Indeed we are. As a courier company we are forced to use fuel on a daily basis, so feel we must try even harder wherever we are able.
All that can be recycled is recycled, from paper to cans. We also continue to try alternative fuels. We have used LPG, Bio fuel and were among the first couriers to use Electric Vans.
We have even been buying eco pens! These are made by PILOT and called the B2P pens. They are actually made from recycled plastic drinks bottles! They work really well. If curious, we buy ours from Viking Direct.
Charitable Donations
AC Couriers supports several charities. We have one we contribute to throughout the year, currently the NSPCC, and various others we support from time to time. These have included both national, such as Marie Curie Cancer Care and local ones, such as Meldreth Manor Special Needs School and a local youth football team. We were also pleased to support a customer running in the last London Marathon for charity.
Beware the Competition
We welcome competition, it helps keep us sharp. Here in Cambridge the competition is heating up once again!
We all want a good deal, but please be aware of companies that seem to offer low rates but don't. As in any industry, there are those who are deceptive, and mislead clients.
An example might be a firm that has an apparently very low mileage rate, but actually charges both there and back! Effectively doubling it. Also look out for hidden surcharges, such as for fuel or congestion charges when going to London. As they say, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
